During 2017 and 2918 I spend periods of 2-3 weeks with the community of San Miguel, in the uphill of Albaicín area, Granada, Spain. It took me like a week to feel comfortable using the camera, but after I felt welcomed by the senegalese community, sharing most of the time with them. The whole population of the area is a very eclectic group, mixing different origins and stories. My interest was about the question of how such a diverse group would organize itself in an informal social context. Witch tools, witch pre conceptions would be brought from each inhabitant when there’s a need of negotiate and organize with others in the context of cultural differences?
Soon I will visit the neighborhood once again, this project is still on going.
